The CO2 Superhero

Hemp can reduce the effects of carbon emissions. ⁣

Hemp is a vital natural carbon sink for reducing pollution. Hemp is unmatched in its ability to sequester (absorb and trap) carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. ⁣

Industrial hemp has been proven to absorb more carbon dioxide (CO2) per hectare than any forest or commercial crop. Hemp sequesters 22 tons of CO2 per hectare and binds it permanently in the materials it is manufactured into. ⁣

Hemp is a great carbon sink because of its growth rate, molecular structure and the biomass of its stalks.
